One thing

One thing I ask from the LORD,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.
Psalm 27:4

The only thing David wanted, his deepest desire was to be aware of God's presence . He longs to concious of his Father's presence every where he goes, no matter what comes his way he wants to be guided moment by moment by Gods direction. I want this too, but do I live like it? Imagine if our deepest desire was to feel God around us even in the most mundane tasks of life when things are bad we feel God stronger than ever but what about when things are going great, going just how we want them, how different our lives would be if we made this our desire. Make this verse your prayer today and see what God does with it. He wants you to be aware of Him in everything so you know He'll answer your prayer.

I know ky life would be different if I lived like I believe that God is always with me. I want to be aware of His Presence all day long. Great encouragement, Mandy!

That is the one thing I want more than anything else, to be aware of His presence. But like you said, do I live like it? Great post!

One of my heart's fondest desires is to be full of God's presence in everything I do Mandy, and this verse choice sums that up beautifully.

Have a Blessed Day!

This is something I am working on and conscious of. I love when I feel and know he is there during the good times because those good times teach me peace if that makes sense. I can only continue to try and make him part of every day and every moment.
