A season

If you've read my blog for any length of time you know that my family and I have been in a season of waiting. My husband fell off a roof at work 3 months ago and today that season of waiting came to an end.

Last night we prayed for my husband at Church, Jesus told me "stop your crying, it has been done as you have asked, let those be tears of joy"

We went for his 3rd 6 week check-up today which included more x-rays an exam and a meeting with the doctor. My husband could bend over and touch his toes and bend backwards without any pain. The doctor poked and prodded my husbands back asking if this hurts and that hurts, the normal doctor routine. My husband no longer has to wear his brace, he still has some work restrictions such as he can't lift anything over 20lbs and he can't climb or do anything dangerous until next month when they release him completley. He returns to work tomorrow. I just praise God, He is faithful, He keeps His promises. He said He would heal my husband and so He has. He brought us through this season in our lives. There were so many ups and downs but through it all He has held us.

This brings me hope as we enter our next season of waiting. Thank you all for your prayers for my family it means so much that you would lift us up like that. My prayer as my husband returns to work is that God would keep him safe. That doors and opportunities would be open to my husband and that he would be lead through those doors. God is faithful and He loves us so much.

Thank you father God. Thank you for healing my husband. I know I doubted and I was afraid but you kept your promise. Even when I doubt you still hold me. You still hold my husband. You taught me how to persevere. You taught me how to wait. I pray that I would make you proud as you lead us through this next season of waiting. Praise You God, thank You so much.

This is just so exciting!!! God is faithful! Why should we worry about the future when God has proven to be faithful in the past? He is so worthy of our praise!!!
