I hate fighting. I shrink back and withdraw when I get yelled at. I hate confrontation. I have given up when things get too tough and people tell me I'm doing something wrong ~ even when I know I'm not.
Not this time.
God has been trying to tell me for months to get forceful in my faith. Get forceful in my walk. Don't shrink back when things get tough and you start getting obsticles thrown at you, God is using those for your growth, not your harm.
Satan won't let one victory go unchallenged.
Everytime I write one of these blogs, or speak up in Bible Study or speak in front of a group of people..all those things are victories for an introvert like me.
We are supposed to go full-force, holding His hand of course, in to what God has prepared and promised us. Satan knows I don't like getting yelled at so he dives right in to that part of my heart and starts clawing around until old wounds are opened up again and I can barely breath.
I thank God that He has such a strong hold on me that even when I feel like I'm falling, God is really holding me with His strong and loving hands.
We are continually told that we are children of the King. We have the power and are fully capable - in Christ - to tell that nasty devil to beat it. When we/I get that through my/our head we will be unstoppable!
So today get forceful in your walk, in your faith. Tell devil man to beat it cause your daddy has a big stick and he has no power with the King or His children.
I am going to work on this today too.

I want to be forceful in my walk. I want to truly live for the King, not just say it.
Mandy, you are amazing! I, too, am the kind to shrink away from confrontation. I truly dislike anything of the sort. I never feel 'good enough.' In reality, I am NOT good enough...by myself...but with God...I am unstoppable! And so are you, girl! Great post.
What a great reminder!!! It's time to stand up for what we believe in and get tough. The enemy isn't shrinking back so why should we? You go girl! :)
I always love seeing what God is capable of doing through us even though it might be our nature to be shy or more introverted. It is God's strength working through us when we are faced with fearful situations.
You make a very important point here Mandy :
"Don't shrink back when things get tough and you start getting obstacles thrown at you, God is using those for your growth, not your harm."
That's something that many people struggle with, myself included upon occasion.
I'm loving the "forceful for God" attitude from you! :-)
Have a Blessed Day!
I've been giving the devil a good talking to lately. My post is on this exact same thing today!!
I love this "We are supposed to go full-force, holding His hand of course, in to what God has prepared and promised us. Satan knows I don't like getting yelled at so he dives right in to that part of my heart and starts clawing around until old wounds are opened up again and I can barely breath." So powerful and encouraging! So glad we are all telling Satan to take a hike this week!!:)
