He understands

Have you ever done anything that would be considered "radical" for God? Something that you didn't just FEEL was right but you KNEW was right...

Or maybe you're on the other side and you can't or won't step out and be "radical" for fear of what people might say or think? Maybe God is asking you to do something so off the wall, you couldn't possibly see yourself stepping out like that. Maybe it's not a task, maybe it's just in your quiet time or worship time.

Let me tell you something, everyone has an opinion. Some may genuinely care about your life and some just want to ruffle feathers because they are afraid themselves.

When Jesus went home to teach, His family and friends were offended at Him. The people who He grew up with just couldn't see Him for who He was. The Word says He was AMAZED at their lack of faith. They pretty much drove Him out of town. These were people he was around His entire child-hood, I wonder if He felt hurt by their unbelief. Mark 6:1-6

I just keep thinking to myself ~ ok Jesus understands. He knows what I'm going through, BUT even with His friends and family's lack of faith He didn't let fear and doubt win against Him. He kept moving forward, He kept working, He kept fulfilling His purpose. If Jesus did it, so can we.

We can be free of doubt, we can have the courage that Jesus had. We can break free of the fear that would wrap its ugly self around us.

Today, my prayer is that you would step out and do something radical for Jesus. I guarantee He will help you with the details.

"Don't be afraid, just believe"

Fear is paralyzing...or at least it can be. I choose to defeat fear...God is not the author of fear. The enemy will not be the victor! Thank you for this reminder.

God never leaves us. We have nothing to fear or doubt. He is there. Thank you for this!

I love how when we do step out and trust there is no doubt that we do it on the strength He provides. He is able to accomplish so much when we are simply willing to obey. Thanks!

I have been studying a book about stepping out in faith. This just reinforces some things that I read this afternoon! I long to live in the freedom that He alone can give to me!

His Immeasurable Love for us certainly deserves stringent acts of Faith Mandy. May we all find the strength necessary to act on that Faith.

Have a Blessed Day!

The details are His anyway, right?! We just need to be the willing vessels... and sometimes that means being radical! Great post Mandy :)
